I had the great honor of working with Shoti and Steve at their Nevada wedding. I'd been watching the weather for weeks and there had been nothing but rain in the forcast. Well that didn't change. What's a couple to do when there is rain on their wedding day...Play in it of course! That's right formal wedding shots in the rain and hail. With the day to day activities and workload I find myself getting behind on the girls' portraits. I capture every moment of the daily wonders but those beautiful work of art sessions are few and far between. The girls and I took a road trip, met up with some friends and got some great photos. Can't wait to share photos of our other beauty soon!

Oh what a day...

We had the opportunity to work with some awesome teens today. They were quite the group of characters! Thanks to this young lady for giving us the gig. B is one of my favorite teens, beautiful, humble, and pleasant to be around. We're so lucky B to have you and your family in our lives. Here's a color sneak peek!

Miss Smiles makes her blog debut...

I'd like you to meet A.W. We got together to get some shots for her graduation announcements. She is such a sweet girl, the only problem is she can't stop smiling. We tried to get some serious shots and she smirked. Well I guess that's a blessing. Keep smiling A, we can't wait to see you after graduation.

Hollywood here he comes...

Well sorta. Meet Mr. V. He's a soon to be 2009 Grad. We had a great time working with him. He made our jobs easy. So Mr. V good luck with college and that career in Hollywood, if your as good behind the camera as you are in front of it you are bound to go far.

Playing Catch up...

I've been slammed with 2009 Seniors and the Class of 2010 is starting to keep me very busy. Oh and did I mention we're well into wedding season. I love my job! Some of our clients may actually get their proofs in the gallery before you get a sneak peek, lets face it I'd rather get them up then blog a sneak peak. J ~ Class of 2009 {Bakerfield CA - Senior Photographer}

We had the wonderful opportunity to meet with J. She's a proud member of the Class of 2009, and a beautiful young lady. The weather in town was much less than spring like, in was down right ugly. Despite the dried out contacts and the tangles we got in our hair, the day was fun and we got some awesome photos. Thanks J for your patience with the bad weather. I know you have a big decision to make today, good luck, you'll be very successful no matter where you choose to go!

"A" Levi Lady

We got together with Miss A and her dad today to get some shots for an upcoming audition. Despite the wind and a few drops of rain we were able to get some great headshots. Good Luck A and have a wonderful time!!!

Oh If I could only get away with dressing like a child.

Ok so it time for my occasional family post. Easter was wonderful, as always the Bunny brought the girls their summer wear. Bree decided that should would keep her bathing suit on, when we went outside to hunt eggs we told her she had to put on shoes. What did she want on? You guessed it, her rain boots. Boy was she a sight, hunting eggs dressed in a bathing suit and rain boots. All she needed was her snow hat to complete the outfit. LOL I wish I could dress like I was one again.

I'm so not a nature photographer...

So here is one of our new feathered friends as promised. They were out in full force during our shoot. I wish I could have gotten a better shot, but they just weren't that into me. I certainly won't be a nature photographer when I grow up!

Look who's turning 15!

Happy Birthday K! I had the pleasure of working with K and her mom today. We got some great shots for her party invites and headshots for her upcoming portfolio. I had a great time ladies, thanks for lunch, and I'll post photos of our new feathered friends soon.




Ok, I already hear K's mom in my head, "she looks older...". I know but this was my favorite, they grow up to fast!

Miss E

I had the pleasure of having a mini shoot with Miss E. She was so fun to work with and even put up with my crazy side kick, Thanks E. Thank You Don for making it all happen. Here's one of my favorites from the session more to come soon!

Lashes

All of my girls were blessed with beautiful eyes and lashes. Miss Bree has her daddies lashes for sure. The other day she fell asleep in the living room before nap time, rather than moving her, I took the opportunity to get a few shots of those beauties.
